THE LEGENDARY
MARTIAL ARTS ACADEMY

GCAMA Martial Arts Systems

So many martial arts schools open today because of the popularity of a system or style but Guru Guy Chase, after spending decades around the world, training in some of the finest institutions and under legends of the martial arts world, brings his extensive knowledge and mastery of these arts under one roof. If you’re an absolute beginner or a seasoned veteran, the Guy Chase Academy of Martial Arts provides you with the rare opportunity to study under one of the most knowledgeable teachers in the United States. As well as a range of specialized martial arts classes, offered throughout the week, The Academy also offers the highest degree of quality in training to children and teenagers. Our systems and classes are outlined in the list below:

Juniors: (Ages 9-13) these dynamic classes are built on teamwork, competitive exercises and goal setting for your child’s future. Junior classes develop a high impact active routine that prepares them for future training in striking and grappling arts.

Muay Thai: The official sport of Thailand. A powerful system of kickboxing unlike any on Earth. It utilizes the eight points of contact (hands, feet, elbows and knees) and is often called The Art Of Eight Limbs. Brought to you from the Kaewsamrit, Sityodtong and Windysport training camps in Thailand.

Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: A distinctly Brazilian offshoot of the Japanese grappling arts Judo and Jiu Jitsu.

Shootfighting: A blend of grappling and striking that is popular in Mixed Martial Arts circles. Learned from the founder of Shootfighting, himself, Karl Gotch.

Kali: The deadly Filipino art of stick fighting. Brought from two of the art’s best-known masters, Tuhan Mel Lopez and Upong Tuhan Ben Largusa from a system invented by the great Floro Villabrille.

Silat: The Indonesian martial that emphasizes attack and counter-attack. Passed down to Guy Chase from Pendakar Herman Sawanda.

Jeet Kune Do: The highly adaptive system of fighting developed by the iconic martial arts master, Bruce Lee. Passed on to Guy Chase by Bruce’s #1 student, Guro Dan Inosanto.

Savate: Developed on the streets of Marseilles, France, this unique form of French Kickboxing is hard to find anywhere in the world outside of France, let alone in the United States. Guru Guy earned his title of Professor under Savate legends Salem Assli, Frederic Belleton and Robert Paturel.
